3 Quick Holiday Cooking Tips
Avoid processed vegetable oils (corn, soy, margarine, canola, etc.) and use butter and coconut oil. Coconut oil is a great substitute for any recipe.
Don't be sickeningly sweet. Cut back on the sweeteners so you still have teeth for next year. Blend in fruit (like bananas, apples, and pineapple) or use better sweeteners like Stevia, honey, or maple syrup.
Play with your vegetables. Sneak vegetables into your stuffing, potatoes, casseroles, and anywhere else you can think of. No one has to know what they're eating is good for them.
