Make Your Eyes Good Listeners
UCLA's record-setting coach John Wooden explained that he learned the most about his players by watching their eyes. They could tell him one thing with their words but he could always see the truth in their eyes. Wooden watched his players closely, as individuals and in groups... and he reported that by using his eyes he "would know how they felt about the practice, the team or me." What can we learn by listening to others with our eyes?
We would all do well to listen with our eyes and not just our ears.
