Be a Good-Finder, Not a Fault-Finder
Don't complain...compliment others
It is important to program your mind with positives, in order to place yourself in a positive, healthy state of mind. You can do this by making a list of all the things you appreciate about your partner, your family members, your home, your work position, your office and the community where you live. Read your list of positives on a regular basis. Think of these positives morning and night... verbalize them... be enthusiastic about them.
When someone asks about your partner, tell them all the positive things you admire about them. When people ask about your home or city, tell them all the things you love about where you live. When people ask about your work, share with them why you appreciate your work and why you are passionate about what you do. The more you emphasize good things and speak of good things, the more you will find good things to like.
Don't complain...compliment!
Don't complain.... compliment! Don't find fault... find good! The more we complain, the more we find things to complain about. The person who complains constantly destroys their relationships. People do not like to be around a complainer. On the other hand, people love to hear positive appreciation and they enjoy being around a person who speaks of positives with enthusiasm.
Write your list of positives. Read your list morning and evening. Do this with enthusiasm! Do this daily for the next few weeks and watch for the positive changes that will occur in your life. Your positive thoughts and actions will cause you to treat your family, friends and co-workers with more courtesy, respect and appreciation. This will improve your chances of forming better and stronger relationships.
This is a great truth of life... the more you express gratitude, the more you will have to express gratitude about.
Be a Good-Finder--it will do wonders for your attitude and for the attitudes of those around you. This will increase your happiness and the happiness of those around you... dramatically!
