Annals of Internal Medicine: Chiropractic Better Than Medication for Neck Pain
Chiropractic helps reduce neck pain
A study recently published in the Annals of Internal Medicine compared neck pain patients who were treated with chiropractic adjusting, medication, or home exercises for 52 weeks.
Both chiropractic adjusting and home exercises were significantly more beneficial than medications for neck pain patients. Chiropractic provided significantly more beneficial results than medication within 8 weeks (lasting for 52 weeks), while exercises were significantly more beneficial than medication after 26 weeks (through 52 weeks).
